You want to get farther, faster. How do you accelerate success? Here are 10 major success accelerators:
Make it a habit: find a better or best practice in any area you want to improve. Start doing that thing. Over and over. Keep showing up every day until it's a habit.
Become a kick ass communicator: learn to persuade and get to the point in all forms of meeting, presenting, selling, writing, talking, speaking. A lot art and major differentiator.
Focus your time: time is your most valuable asset. Use it on what matters and moves the needle. And don't waste it.
Glob onto greatness: hang around great, smart people. Or read up on them. Either way, be a sponge. Learn and apply everything you can. As often as you can.
Stretch out of your comfort zone: status quo is comfortable. But if you want to go farther, you need to try more, do more, learn more.
Take steps: big things happen one little step at a time. Just start moving. Step. Step. Step. This leads to progress. And then it leads far.
Focus yourself: whatever you are doing, be fully there.
Do extra: in the areas that count the most. Have the nerve to go a little farther than others have the nerve to go.
Juxtaposition: zig when others zag. Think different. Stand apart. Because the flock mills around a lot and doesn't always move in the right direction.
Golden rule: do unto others as you'd want done to do. Do this and it comes back to you. Don't....and it comes back on you.
Do any/all of the above and your growth will be exponential.
