The Magnificent Seven (ways to grow your mental strength)

Here are your Magnificent Seven: ways to grow mentally strong. It’s time to cow-person up and be more resilient.  So yippee-ki-yay all, let's ride (western-themed puns intended):

1.     Failure isn't failure: if you don't repeat it, learn fast and pivot quickly

2.     Focus on what you can control: not what you can't

3.     Choose how you react: anybody can act right when things are good. Focus on staying calm, thinking and acting clearly when things are tough

4.     Obstacles and chaos = opportunity: while everyone else is losing it, stay focused and find a way

5.     Tame your voices: shut down negative self-talk as soon as it shows up. Remember, the best way to over come a lack of confidence is to take steps, try, learn, improve

6.     Be in the now: learn from the past but don't stew on it. Think ahead but don't fret about it.

7.     Persist: stay at it and don't quit just because it's hard. Most worthwhile things are hard

There you go.  It’s time to get er’ done.  Saddle up
